Fiscal Sponsorship
Fiscal Sponsorship Services
At Impact 907, we’re committed to building capacity for grassroots and community-based efforts throughout the Northwest. In response to feedback from our partners and community members, we offer fiscal sponsorship services to support smaller organizations, emerging initiatives, and passionate changemakers looking to make a difference - without the immediate burden of forming a standalone nonprofit.
Supporting Community-Led Projects Across the Northwest
At Impact 907, our services are guided by a deep commitment to responsiveness and community voice. We recognize that every organization and business is unique, with its own mission, challenges, and support needs. That’s why our cost structure for fiscal sponsorship is not one-size-fits-all - it is customized based on the specific needs and goals of each partner. By applying the principles of community voice, we center lived experiences and aspirations of those we serve, working in collaboration to dismantle barriers that might otherwise hinder progress.
Our goal is to make fiscal sponsorship accessible by ensuring cost is never a prohibitive factor in moving your mission forward. Our team will work alongside you to assess your needs, determine the right level of administrative and financial support, and co-create a fiscal sponsorship or agency plan that uplifts your vision while maintaining transparency, accountability, and shared purpose.
What is Fiscal Sponsorship?
Fiscal sponsorship is a formal arrangement in which a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, like Impact 907, extends its legal and tax-exempt status to another project, initiative, or group that aligns with its mission. Fiscal Sponsorship can range in services and cost depending on individual organization or project needs. This allows socially driven projects to receive tax-deductible donations, apply for grants, and operate with financial transparency - all without the extra burden and cost of having to create a new nonprofit organization.
What is a Fiscal Agent?
A fiscal agent (also considered Model F fiscal sponsorship) provides administrative and financial management services for a project or organization but does not confer 501(c)(3) status. Impact 907 may serve as a fiscal agent in limited cases where charitable status is not required but support with bookkeeping, fund management, or compliance oversight is still beneficial. The majority of projects fall under fiscal sponsorship.
